These terms are a contract between you and Bisai Technologies ("we", "us") for the use of the Part-66 Prep: EASA & UK CAA mobile application ("the app"). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. What the app is

Part-66 Prep is an independent study aid for the basic knowledge examinations required for an aircraft maintenance licence under EASA Part-66 (Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014, Annex III) and UK CAA Part-66. It offers multiple-choice practice questions and category-exact mock exams for Modules 1 to 17 and categories A, B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, B2, B2L and B3, in the official format: three answer options, one correct, 75 % pass mark, and the question counts and time allowances set out in Part-66 Appendix II. It also offers explanations with syllabus references, parametric calculation generators, a formula sheet, a unit-conversion trainer, an essay trainer for Module 7 (EASA) and Modules 7, 9 and 10 (UK CAA), an attempt tracker, a study plan and a readiness estimate, and a switch between EASA and UK CAA rules.

Part-66 Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), any national aviation authority or any Part-147 approved maintenance training organisation. The app is not an approved Part-147 course, does not book examinations, does not record examination credits and does not issue any certificate of recognition. Every question in the app is an original work written from the published syllabus and public-domain or open-licence reference material; the app never contains recalled examination questions.

2. Who may use the app

You must be at least 16 years old. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract or the permission of a parent or guardian. You may use the app only for your own personal exam preparation.

3. No account

The app has no account, login or password. Your progress is stored on your device, and your only identifier is an anonymous ID generated on the device (see the Privacy Policy). If you lose the device, uninstall the app or reset app data, your progress, attempt tracker and essay marks are gone and we cannot recover them. An active subscription can be re-attached on a new installation with Restore purchases, on the same store account.

4. Free features and Pro subscription

Free: the 20-question diagnostic test and readiness report, 20 practice questions per day, one mock exam per week, the exam countdown and the exam-day checklist.

Pro (subscription): unlimited practice and unlimited mock exams for every module and every category, parametric calculation generators, the essay trainer with AI marking, the attempt tracker's revision plan to the next allowed sitting date, the formula sheet, the unit-conversion trainer, "explain it differently" AI explanations (up to 20 per day) and every future content pack for this app.

4.1 Plans, prices and renewal

Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's App Store or Google Play:

The price shown in the app before you confirm is the price you pay, in your store's currency, including VAT where applicable. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store subscription settings (iOS) or Google Play subscription settings (Android). Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period already paid.

Promotional or introductory prices, where offered, are shown in the app before purchase, together with the price that applies after the promotional period.

4.2 Price changes

If we change the price of a plan, the store will notify you in advance under its rules and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies to a renewal.

4.3 Redeem codes

Codes distributed by us or by partner organisations (training organisations, employers) grant Pro access for a fixed period without payment. A code can be used once. Codes have no cash value and are not refundable.

4.4 Refunds and the pass guarantee

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. It explains Apple's and Google's refund procedures and our pass guarantee: if the app had marked you "exam-ready" for a module and category before your sitting and you nonetheless fail that module, we extend your access free of charge or refund your most recent subscription payment, under the conditions stated there.

5. Content

5.1 Sources and accuracy

Questions are written from the Part-66 Appendix I syllabus and Appendix II examination standard, the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician Handbooks (public domain), EU and UK regulation texts published on EUR-Lex, legislation.gov.uk and the CAA regulatory library, and EASA and CAA human-factors material. Every question cites its source, its syllabus reference and the date it was last checked. Regulations, the syllabus and examination standards change; we update content packs over the air and aim to publish corrections within 48 hours of a confirmed report, but we cannot guarantee that every question is current or error-free at every moment. Using the app does not guarantee that you pass any examination.

5.2 Report a problem

Use the Report a problem button on any question to tell us about an error. Do not include personal data in the report.

5.3 AI-generated content

The "explain it differently" feature produces text with a generative AI model from the question, its options and its human-written explanation. The essay trainer produces a mark and feedback with a generative AI model from your essay and a human-written key-points list. AI output can contain mistakes. The human-written explanation, the model answers and the cited source remain the reference; an essay mark from the app is a study aid, not a prediction of the mark an examiner will give.

5.4 Attempt tracker

The attempt tracker computes waiting periods (90 days after a failed attempt, 30 days with retraining) and the limit of three consecutive attempts followed by a one-year wait from the sittings you log. It is a planning aid. The authority or training organisation that examines you holds the official record of your attempts, and its rules prevail.

5.5 Licence to you

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and its content on devices you own or control, for your own exam preparation. You may not copy, extract, scrape, redistribute, sell, or publicly post the question bank, explanations, model answers, diagrams or generators; reverse-engineer the app or its content packs; circumvent the free-tier limits, the subscription check or the pack signature; or use automated tools to access our server. Public-domain and open-licence material included in the app remains under its own terms (see the in-app Sources screen and legal/about).

6. Your content

Notes you type stay on your device. Essays you submit for marking are processed as described in the Privacy Policy and are not stored on our server. Problem reports and guarantee claims you send us may be used to correct content and handle your claim. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use the text of problem reports for that purpose.

7. Availability and changes

The app works offline for all study features except the two AI features. Content updates, AI explanations, essay marking, purchases and restore require a connection. We may change, add or remove features, content and plans, and may discontinue the app with at least 30 days' notice in the app; an active subscription is then refunded pro rata or not renewed, at our choice, and no further charges are made.

8. Warranties and liability

The app is provided "as is" for exam preparation. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, examination fees, training fees, travel costs, lost income, licence application outcomes, or the outcome of any examination. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or the mandatory consumer rights described in section 10.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by cancelling your subscription and uninstalling. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms (in particular sections 5.5 and 6), with a refund of any unused subscription period only if the breach was not intentional.

10. Consumer rights

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have mandatory rights under your local consumer law that these terms do not reduce, including the right to a conforming digital service and remedies for non-conformity. Right of withdrawal: because Pro is digital content supplied immediately, you acknowledge at purchase that performance begins at once; refund requests within 14 days are handled by Apple or Google under their withdrawal procedures, described in our Refund Policy.

11. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, United States. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version is published at the URL above with a new version number and effective date; material changes are announced in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, cancel your subscription before the effective date.
